About Famous In Oregon home of Tanner The Planter
Famous In Oregon home of Tanner The Planter is one of the plant nurseries listed in Prosper, Texas. The business is registered at 102 W Broadway St, Prosper, TX 75078; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.
In Prosper, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Texas, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 9 amโ6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (214) 305-4142. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, famousinoregon.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 269 reviews, which is a strong result for a plant nursery in Prosper and suggests consistent service.
Prosper is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Prosper is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

So far, I have only placed online orders and have been blown away with the care and special handling in how their plants are shipped. Usually not a single speck of dirt out of place and everything has been happy and healthy upon arrival. The time and care the owners, Tanner and Erika, put into their business along with their staff, will keep me coming back for years to come.

Famous in Oregon/ Tanner the Planter / Mrs Tanner the planter (Erika) are the best in the business!!! The care, passion, and commitment they give to their business, customers, and each other (as well as their team) is remarkable. They are fun and informative as well. Not to mention, the plants! They pride themselves on selling the best plants and supplying a great variety at a fair price! I wasnโt sure about buying shipped plants until them! They do it right. Check them out, you wonโt regret it ๐ชดโค๏ธ

I found @tannertheplanter scrolling on Instagram. His content about houseplant care gave me the knowledge and confidence to try to save the couple of houseplants I had. The peace lily in the pictures I uploaded is not from the shop, but it was drooping, sad, with yellow leaves, and seemed on the brink of death. With just advice from his social media, it is green, healthy, and flowering. Then I found @mrstannerplanter and @famousinoregon, and realized this is a full service plant operation powerhouse. These are awesome, knowledgeable people that sell plants that are well cared for from quality growers. After success within a few short weeks with the health of the plants I already had, I decided I wanted a new hobby. The other pictures in my review are of plants I received from them within the last couple of weeks. And there are more coming because I keep learning so much from their socials and live sales. It has awakened a love for houseplants within me, and I want them all. LOL! Iโve got nothing but love and 5-star praises for this business, the owners, and their team that packages and ships the products with care and excellence! I hope to be able to visit in person one day. Until

I'd like to begin by saying that this isn't my first plant purchase from your store and I have been pleased with previous plant shipments. However, this time I was disappointed and very surprised when I opened my plant box. This Philo Paraiso Verde appears to be an older plant that has been pruned a few times in the past and definitely is past due for additional pruning. I contacted CS as instructed, provided photos and was told to give the plant water if needed, bright indirect light and additional photos in 14 days if I was still concerned. 14 days is not going to change the way this plant looks and I'm not sure what to do with it. I don't think this Paraiso Verde should have been shipped to me and I should have received more guidance when these photos were first looked at by CS or whoever is in charge of plant shipping.

Iโve had my staghorn fern from FiO/TTO (Prosper, TX plant shop) for about 7 months, and itโs thriving!!... which I never thought Iโd say living in Texas ๐ One thing they do really well here is explain that plants go through stress, especially after shipping or environmental changes. Thatโs not a flaw, itโs just part of plant care. Tanner & Erika donโt just sell houseplants, they teach how to understand and care for plants in a realistic, approachable way. That made all the difference for me (chopsticks ๐ฅข). W/their help, plant care has become a grounding part of my routine instead of something intimidating (esp cactus ๐ต , Lol). If youโre willing to learn and be patient, youโll be in very good hands here... not just with great plants, but with guidance that actually makes the whole process click. ๐ก๐ชดโค๏ธ๐
